Bölkow Flying Jeep
An 81 kW (110 hp) diesel engine with compressor supplied the tip-jets through a conduit with compressed air. The insights gained through this project were to be used in the construction of a heavy-lift helicopter with a lifting capacity of up to 40 tons. The project was discontinued because of lack of need.
