Mil Mi-24



There are various versions Hind-A to Hind-G (NATO code name) reflecting the different weapon, fuselage and powerplant configurations. One version was the strongest, another the fastest with a maximum speed of 368.4 km/h. The M-24P version (P = Russian pushka = cannon) (Hind-F) of the GDR army (NVA) had a fixed 30-mm cannon, 4 "Shturm" anti-tank guided missiles, 4 missile pods with 32 unguided 57-mm rockets each (or other arms).

Replica of first flying helicopter in the museum
On September 12 a full sized replica of the first flying helicopter was installed in the museum.
