Replica of first flying helicopter in the museum
On the 13th of November 1907 Mr. Cornu made the first helicopter flight in history. The flight lasted for 20 seconds and reached a height of 30cm .
Unlike in many other vertical flight experiments also the landing was succesful.
A group of volunteers has built a 1:1 replica in almost 1000 working hours. This replica has been installed on September 12, 2007 in the museum.
