Helicopter forum is getting closer - addendum of April 29, 2024
Preparations for the 33rd INTERNATIONAL HELICOPTER FORUM, from June 26 to 27, are in full swing; the lecture topics have been finalized, the recruitment of speakers is nearly complete, and many exhibitors from the aviation industry have already booked their space in the exhibition tent.
The first participant registrations are also coming in, so we are confident that the tremendous effort will once again pay off with nearly 350 participants. This forum is held every 2 years in the helicopter city of Bückeburg, at the Achum airfield in the Bückeburg lecture hall. From the first forum in 1961 until 1979, the Army Aviation School conducted the forum. Since 1981, the sponsoring association of the Helicopter Museum, HUBSCHRAUBERZENTRUM e.V., has been the organizer and executor of this forum.
In the invitation letter to the 2nd Forum in 1961, from the then commander Colonel EBELING, it states: "
"Der Sinn des Forums ist es, alle in Deutschland an Hubschrauber Interessierten zusammenzufassen und durch regen Gedankenaustausch an der Weiterentwicklung der Rotor-Fliegerei mitzuwirken",
which means:
"The purpose of the forum is to bring together everyone interested in helicopters in Germany and to contribute to the development of rotorcraft aviation through lively exchange of ideas."
