Over 120 guests and participants from four nations gathered at the Helicopter Museum for the awarding of flight certificates to those, who had successfully completed the course as military helicopter pilots. Among the guests were the relatives, flight instructors, and supervisors of the graduates.
The celebration began with the European anthem, followed by a speech by the commander of the IHTC, Colonel Nikolai, after which we played the "Pilot's March". After the awarding of the certificates, the museum quintet performed the national anthems of Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden, and also Germany.
The celebration concluded with good conversations, a cold drink, and a tour of the museum. We wish the 10 pilots always a handful of air under their skids (wheels), and to all readers of this post a reflective Christmas season and a peaceful New Year!
Come by again to visit our beautiful Helicopter Museum.
Best regards from KersTin and DieTer😀
